How the rates work
- Source
- Reference rates come from the Frankfurter API, which publishes the European Central Bank rates each working day.
- Freshness
- Rates are fetched on our server and reused for up to 10 minutes, so repeat conversions are fast.
- Checks
- Every request is checked on the server. The amount must be above zero, and both currencies must be on the supported list.
- Use
- These are mid-market reference rates for information. Your bank or card provider may apply a different rate or fees.
